In the Thousand Oaks area, this is a very good Taekwondo Martial Arts where you can learn all kinds of hand strikes and kicks for self defense. Master Yoo is a great master. He taught me a lot and how to use the weapon Bo Staff, Nunchucks, and how to defend yourself if someone is striking at you with a KNIFE! I really liked him and the instructors such as Instructor Peter, Nicholas, Kevin, and Stevenson. There are lots of friends that go here from Sycamore Canyon such as Daniel, Alexander, Michael, Owen, and Sebastian. This Tae Kwon Do has lots of people going here. We are a great team.

My name is Owen and I am 9 years old. I have been going TKD since I was 3 years old. I will be a 2nd degree black belt on April 2018. I like how Master Yoo makes us shout with confidence. I have learned how to do jump kicks, punches, and how to use weapons like two nunchucks at the same time, two escrimas at the same time, long bow staffs, and knife defense. TKD is a really fun place because you can break boards. The TKD do jang is bigger than any other do jang in the whole neighborhood so we have lots of room to move around. My favorite part is sparring my little brother!

I can't believe I'm the first person to write a review on yelp about Club TKD. My daughter been attending Club TKD for the last couple year. Their after school martial arts program is amazing. In my opinion there isn't a better program out there in DV, TO and NBP. Club TKD teaches the basic principle of being a good person and being able to defend yourself is another key benefit. The master and instructors are the gold standard for martial arts.
